We are
non-denominational
ordained ministers / Officiants performing wedding ceremonies
according to YOUR WISHES.
Your wedding should be HAPPY CELEBRATION with lots of laughing, hugging,
kissing and champagne! We are here
to marry you and to record the marriage license at the
County Recorders Office for you.
My name is Terri Linzmeier. Mark and I have been married since 1985 and have four tall,
gorgeous children who are all "in the bizness" with us
working as officiants, photographers and videographers. We offer a
discount package which includes your officiant, photographer, and videographer
for just $995 (up to 2 hours of photography and videography). You can
deduct $100 from the package price if you prefer to do your own photo editing.
And of course,
extra time can be added for photography or videography coverage.
OFFICIANT PRICING Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside Counties $275
plus a $50 travel fee if we have to travel over an hour to your ceremony
$25 discount for Active Military,
or $50 discount for Monday-Thursday weddings
If you
have more than 20 or 30 guests attending your wedding, I will provide a PA
System (at no extra charge), which I'll use with a wireless microphone during
your ceremony. You are welcome to plug your iPod into the PA System to
play some love songs and a "bridal march" if you're not having a live musician.
If
you'd like us to take care of the music before, during, and after your ceremony
(with your choice of music), we'll put together a playlist on our iPod for an
extra $50. Click HERE
for a list of local live musicians and other services that we recommend for wedding ceremonies.
Call me on my cell at 949-697-2246, or drop me an e-mail at:
WeddingsbyTerri@cox.net
(I live on my e-mail).
I have a
Wedding Ceremony Template (it's a Word document) that
helps with planning your ceremony that I can e-mail to you, or click
HERE to open a copy. You can customize your
ceremony (replace "bride and groom" with your names, choose vows, readings, add
whatever you like, and delete everything else then e-mail it back to your
wedding Officiant easy as pie!). We love to meet with you and sit down
and go over your ceremony at our office (it's our boat) in the Dana Point Marina,
but if you're crazy busy and can't schedule the time, we can have a SKYPE videocam face-to-face
meeting on the computer, or go over your ceremony on a conference call.
Based on the hundreds of weddings we've officiated, click
HERE to see a
hodgepodge list of what works and what doesn't work at wedding ceremonies!

Click
HERE
to see photos of some of the local beaches and parks in Laguna Beach and Dana
Point. Every beach has both good and bad points - some are affected by the
tides, others are too crowded with tourists, some beaches don't face the sunset,
some beaches don't "allow" weddings, and the prettiest beaches may have too
many stairs for your grandma.

MARRIAGE
LICENSE INFORMATION
Click
for marriage license information in
Orange County
and to fill out the application on-line. The two of you will must go in
person to the County Clerk's office and take your drivers licenses.
You can apply for your license at the Old County Courthouse on the corner of
Broadway and Civic Center Drive in Santa Ana (it's the big old red building
pictured at right), or you can go to the Laguna Hills Civic Center on El Toro
Road in Laguna Hills. If you go to the Old County Courthouse, be sure to take
an extra 15 minutes to go upstairs and see the historical courtroom, jury room,
recorders room, and judges chambers that are on display and don't forget to
feed the meter. I got a $47 parking ticket there.
If you want to talk to a human at the County Clerk's Marriage License Office,
call 714-834-2500 between 8am 4:30pm, press 6 for an operator, and ask to talk
to a live person in Marriage Licenses. Click HERE to see locations and
hours.
Click for
marriage licenses
in Los Angeles County.
The Los Angeles County Clerk's department is really slow. They need
6-8 weeks to "record" your marriage license and send you a certified copy, so if
you need a Certified Copy of your marriage license quickly, you should drive
down to Santa Ana in Orange County and get your license there. Orange
County takes just two weeks to send your copy.
Click for marriage license in
San Diego County or
Riverside County.
If you pick up a "confidential marriage license", you MUST
get married in the county where you obtained the license. However, if you
absolutely can NOT get to your local clerk's office on a weekday, you can make
an appointment to pick up your marriage license in San Diego at the Kearney Mesa
office on a Saturday, between 9am-1pm.
Mark and Terri Linzmeier We've
been married 24+ years
I often repeat this at weddings, but my favorite thing about being married is having my own person.
He's mine (and I'm his), and we'll always be there for each other, come what
may. That, for me, is the best part of marriage.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT!
